The UPA-1 pocket amplifier

The UPA-1 is a low-noise, high-gain and exceptionally weatherproof preamp and headphone amp.
It is designed to be used with our H2a hydrophone and, with headphones, will complete a simple and robust portable underwater listening system.
The low-distortion, high-gain amplifier board is conformal-coated for maximum corrosion resistance and offers flexible output configurations.
Strong polyurethane housing components, a waterproof recessed input jack, and a user-replaceable gold-plated output jack, allow this preamp to be used with confidence in heavy rain or salt-water spray.
Single 9-volt battery power is standard. The UPA-1 can also be used with any convenient power source from 6 to 15VDC.
The UPA-1 can be configured as a low output impedance balanced line driver.
