The SQ26-MT underwater recording system consists of the Sensor Technology SQ26-08 hydrophone and the new M-Audio MicroTrack II solid state digital recorder, a 4GB high-speed compact flash memory card, a portable battery pack to provide up to 10 hours of continuous recording time, a 12V USB power adapter to charge the MicroTrack's battery while in the field, and a waterproof Pelican case with custom anti-static foam to protect the system. One of the cool things about this underwater recording system is that the hydrophone is powered by the MicroTrack's plug-in power microphone jack. It will record sounds up to 40kHz, which is twice as high as humans with perfect hearing can detect. The SQ26-MT is the most compact underwater recording system that exists.

Model C55-E44
c55-thmb edirol-r44-sm

This underwater recording system consists of the Cetacean Research™  C55 hydrophone and the  Edirol R-44 digital recorder. This professional, portable, 4-channel system features sample rates up to 96Hz at 24-bit resolution. Files are recorded directly to a SDHC / SD memory card on the R-44, allowing for virtually unlimited CD-quality recording time, depending on the size and quantity of the SDHC / SD memory cards on hand.

Model C55-F2
c55-thmb fostex-fr2-front

This underwater recording system consists of the Cetacean Research™  C55 hydrophone and the Fostex FR-2 digital recorder. This professional, and very portable, system features a sample rate of 192kHz at 24-bit resolution! Files are recorded directly to Compact Flash memory or to PCMCIA Flash Drive on the FR-2. The files can be transferred to your computer directly or via USB for analysis with SpectraLAB software, sold separately.

Computer based recording
