Thanks for your interest in SEA - sound emission analizer.
SEA was developed to have real-time sound analysis capabilities on a Windows PC. Mainly developed for bioacoustic studies, this software can be used for a wide range of applications requiring real-time display of sounds and vibrations. It allows to view in real-time the spectrographic features of sounds acquired by any sound device compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP.
It also allows to record, play and analyze standard 16 bit .wav files.
The use of this software is free of charge for personal non commercial use.
The use of this software in industries, private and public institutions, research and academic institutions, commercial activities, consultancy companies, is allowed for a period of 15 days after first installation.
A special licensing program is available for research institutions. Your feedback is important.

Commercial versions
Three commercial versions are available (see link):
- SEA Pro
- SEA Ultra
- SEA DAQ. Uses National Instruments DAQ devices. It has been developed to allow recording and analyzing at high sampling rates (up to 500kHz, depending on the DAQ device and on the host PC).
A simplified version has been also developed to be integrated into multimedia presentations for educational purposes.
Commercial Policy
A special licensing is available for non-profit, Research and Academic Institutions. As NAUTA and the Author are willing to support bioacoustic research, free licenses are available for economically disadvantaged Countries and Institutions.
Research versions
SEA has been primarily developed to support underwater bioacoustic studies at the Centro Interdisciplinare di Bioacustica e Ricerche Ambientali (CIBRA) of the University of Pavia, Italy. http://www.unipv.it/cibra
A research version is continuously being updated by the Author at CIBRA. The research version is available within research partnership with CIBRA.
