Prepared by Cetacean Research Technology, our noise measurement systems are the most cost effective solution for standardized underwater noise measurement.
Our portable, self-contained Underwater Noise Measurement Systems are the first and only in existence to be designed specifically for measuring and recording underwater sound levels.
These systems come with a NIST certified calibration. Our PC-based Underwater Noise Measurement Systems utilize the only PC-based sound pressure level meters in existence to be in compliance with ANSI S1.11 and IEC1260 standards.
All systems include calibrated Cetacean Research™ and/or Sensor Technology hydrophones.

Model CR1-ST1400ENV

The model CR1-ST1400ENV noise measurement system consists of a calibrated Cetacean Research™ CR1 hydrophone and a Sound Technology ST1400ENV mobile data recorder & sound level monitor.
It is the first and only portable, self-contained system designed specifically to record underwater sounds while simultaneously monitoring and logging sound pressure levels and other sound level parameters. In addition to standard sound level monitoring and recording, the ST1400ENV can be configured to provide time-domain and 1/3 octave analysis, as well as ultrasonic and multi-channel processing.
This system can withstand large signals without overloading. It is ideal for measuring very loud noises such as those produced by pile drivers, air guns, low-frequency and mid-range sonar, and explosives.

The model CR1-ST191-PRO noise measurement system consists of a calibrated Cetacean Research™ CR1 hydrophone, Sound Technology's ST191-DSA calibrated USB computer interface, and SpectraPRO analysis software. When interfaced with your notebook computer, the CR1-ST191-PRO becomes a powerful and totally portable underwater noise recording, measurement and analysis system. This system provides recording, as well as real-time and post-processing analysis of audio-band underwater signals and noise. Because this system can withstand large signals without overloading, it is ideal for measuring very loud noises such as those produced by pile drivers, air guns, low-frequency and mid-range sonar, and explosives. SPL measurements made with this system are ANSI S1.11 and IEC1260 compliant.

Model C55-T122L-PRO

The model C55-T122L-PRO noise measurement system consists of a calibrated Cetacean Research™ C55 hydrophone, a calibrated TASCAM US-122L USB computer interface, and SpectraPRO analysis software. When interfaced with your notebook computer, the C55-T122L-PRO becomes a powerful and totally portable underwater noise recording, measurement and analysis system.
This system provides recording, as well as real-time and post-processing analysis of underwater signals and noise of up to 40kHz bandwidth. This system combines an ultrasonic frequency response with a relatively inexpensive acquisition interface, making it our most cost effective noise measurement system.

SPL measurements made with this system are ANSI S1.11 and IEC1260 compliant.

The model C55-F2-LAB noise measurement system consists of a calibrated Cetacean Research™ C55 hydrophone, a calibrated Fostex FR-2 digital recorder, and SpectraLAB analysis software.
When interfaced with your personal computer, the C55-F2-LAB becomes a powerful underwater noise recording, measurement and analysis system.
This system provides recording and post processing analysis of underwater signals and noise of up to 80kHz bandwidth.
This system is ideal for measuring ultrasonic noises such as those produced by small boat motors, pingers, and high-frequency sonar.
