Traacker Manager

Tracker Manager is our ancillary software system for modelling floating litter (macro-plastics) behavior in marine and riverine environments. By using small GPS tracking devices, it is possible to track and map the movement of litter, collecting essential data to assess pollution levels, environmental impact and standard behavior of existing macro-plastics.
With the ability to track waste movements over time.

In this section, you can learn how JunkTrack works.

First of all

To ensure a proper understanding and to follow each step correctly, we recommend downloading the user manuals provided below.

A JunkTrack app is available to support field operations, including recording deployments and defining the tracker’s position.

The app is available on both iOS and Android stores, but its use is restricted to authorized users only.

To access the app, you must be registered by an Administrator or the SuperUser (NAUTA).
Upon activation, you will receive your login credentials (username and temporary password).

If you are not yet registered, please contact your project coordinator or write to michele.manghi@nauta-rcs.it to request access.

Download the app
Access the JunkTrack app directly from the stores:

Tracker:

The trackers will be shipped in special floating jars. Before deploying them into the sea or river, remove the magnet, which is used to keep the tracker OFF when unused.

Remember to release the jar into the water ONLY AFTER REMOVING THE TAPE WITH THE MAGNET!

If the magnet is not removed, the tracker will not work.
