In December 2019, a small group of orcas, later identified as a pod from Iceland, remained in the Genoa harbor area for several weeks.

Thanks to Alessandro Verga, Sabina Airoldi, the Tethys Research Institute, and the Genoa Harbor Authority, we were able to collect several days of recordings using one of our underwater acoustic recorders, uRec384k.
